Everything runs online, so you get the same care whether you’re down the road or on the other side of the country. You deal with one person from the first design to launch.
What I build for Australian businesses#
One developer for the whole project, from a simple business site to a custom web app.
- Small business websites: fast, mobile-friendly sites you can edit yourself.
- WordPress websites: custom WordPress and Elementor builds that are easy to update.
- Website redesigns: a new look without losing your Google rankings.
- Figma to WordPress, HTML or React: pixel-accurate builds from your designer’s files.
- UI/UX design: wireframes, prototypes and polished designs in Figma.
- Web applications: custom apps and dashboards built with React or Angular.
- SEO services and speed optimisation: help getting found on Google and passing Core Web Vitals.
- Brand strategy: a clear story for your brand before the website is built.
How working together online works#
Looking for a freelance web developer for hire in Australia? You don’t need to be in Melbourne, because every project runs the same way wherever you are.
- Send your brief. Message me on Fiverr with what you need, or choose the gig that fits.
- Get a custom offer. I’ll reply with a few questions, then an offer with a clear price and delivery time.
- Approve the design. I design your site in Figma first, and you approve every page before I build anything.
- I build and test it. Your site is built for phones first, with speed tuning and the on-page SEO basics included.
- Launch and handover. You get simple fields (or Elementor) to update text and images, plus a walkthrough.
Messages, files, orders and payments all stay in one place on Fiverr. Payment is only released to me when your order is complete.
Working hours across Australia#
I’m on Melbourne time. Here’s what 9am in Melbourne is where you are.
| Where you are | Daylight saving (October to April) | Rest of the year (April to October) |
|---|---|---|
| Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Hobart | 9:00am | 9:00am |
| Adelaide | 8:30am | 8:30am |
| Brisbane | 8:00am | 9:00am |
| Darwin | 7:30am | 8:30am |
| Perth | 6:00am | 7:00am |
Queensland, the Northern Territory and Western Australia don’t use daylight saving, so the gap changes in October and April. Even from Perth, we still share five working hours a day in summer.

Robyn Foyster, founder and publisher of Women Love Tech, has had me develop, maintain and optimise all of her websites for more than a year, and describes me as reliable, highly skilled and responsive.
Built for Australian customers and search#
A website for an Australian business needs to work for the people searching in your city or state.
- Fast on phones. Most people will find you on a phone first, so every build includes speed tuning. Test your current site with my free website speed test.
- Found in your area. Every site gets the on-page SEO basics, and my SEO services cover local SEO for any city or state.
- Ready for AI search. Clear pages about who you are and where you work help tools like ChatGPT and Gemini recommend your business.
- Easy to run yourself. You can update text and images without calling a developer.
Common questions#
Do you work with businesses outside Melbourne?#
Yes. I work with businesses, brands and individuals across Australia and around the world. Every project runs online, so where you’re based doesn’t change anything.
Do we need to meet in person?#
No. Briefs, designs, feedback and approvals all happen online, and you approve every page in Figma before I build it.
How do I hire you?#
Through Fiverr. Open my profile, then choose the gig that fits or send me a message with your brief. I’ll reply with questions and a custom offer.
How much does a website cost in Australia?#
It depends on the number of pages, the features and who writes the content. My website cost guide has typical price ranges for 2026.
How long does a website take?#
It depends on the pages and features. Either way, you’ll get a clear delivery time in my offer before we start.
Can you work on my existing website?#
Yes. I can redesign it, speed it up or improve its SEO, without starting from scratch if you don’t need to.
How do I choose the right web developer?#
Look at live sites they’ve built, read their reviews, and make sure you’ll own your domain and website. Here are 10 questions to ask before you hire.
